Where mirror panels work best
- Entryways: a small entry feels much larger with one mirrored wall.
- Dining rooms: they reflect pendant lights and candlelight, especially the gold mosaic.
- Living rooms: on the wall opposite a window, to bounce daylight deeper into the room.
- Bedrooms: as a feature wall beside the bed, rather than directly facing it.
- Restaurants, bars and salons: where the wall is meant to be noticed.
- Offices and reception areas: a brighter first impression.
Geometric vs. mosaic
- Silver Geometric is cleaner and more modern. It works in contemporary homes and offices.
- Silver + Gold Mosaic is the most decorative. It's best as a statement wall in dining and hospitality spaces.
Sizing a mirror feature wall
Each panel is 47" x 24" (about 7.8 sq ft). For a full feature wall, divide the wall area by panel area and plan the layout so cut pieces fall at the edges. For example, panels laid vertically 4 across and 2 high (8 panels) cover about 8 ft wide x 7 ft 10 in tall. Finish the top edge with a border, or add a trimmed row if you want to reach a taller ceiling. We'll check your layout if you send measurements.
Pairing with slat panels
Mirror and wood slat panels work well together: a slat wall on one side of a room and a mirror section on another, or mirror panels between runs of slats. See our wood slat wall panels.
Installation basics
- Use a mirror-safe adhesive, and mechanical support where the manufacturer or installer recommends it.
- The wall must be flat and clean. Mirrors show every bump.
- For large or commercial walls, a professional installer is a good idea. Ask us for a free installation quote.
