COB LED lighting
Finish the space
with light.
Continuous light. No visible dots. Continuous, even, and quiet enough to look built in rather than added on.

The difference
One line of light, not a row of dots.
COB (chip-on-board) LED puts the diodes so close together that the strip reads as one clean line of light instead of a row of dots. That is what makes it work as architectural lighting rather than utility lighting — in a cove, under a cabinet, or grazing the face of a slat wall.
Used well, it does something a ceiling fixture cannot: it lights the surface rather than the room. Grazed across a slat wall it deepens every shadow line. Tucked into a cove it lifts a ceiling. Under a shelf it makes the millwork look custom.

Where it goes
Six places it earns its keep.
Ceiling coves
A continuous line around the ceiling perimeter that lifts the whole room without a single visible fixture.
Wall panel integration
Run behind or beside a slat wall so the light grazes the slats and pulls the texture forward.
Cabinets and shelving
Under-cabinet and in-shelf lighting that looks built-in rather than added on.
Feature walls
A single clean reveal that turns a flat wall into the focal point of the room.
Stairs and hallways
Low, even light along a circulation path — practical at night, architectural during the day.
Commercial interiors
Restaurants, retail and offices where the lighting has to look intentional and hold up to daily use.
Before you plan a run
Placement, power supply and run length depend on the space. We review the location with you before recommending a layout — we do not promise that every position will work without looking at it first.
Better together
Slat walls and COB belong together.
A slat wall is texture. Light is what reveals it. Run a warm COB strip along the base or the ceiling line and the whole surface changes character after dark.

COB lighting questions
What makes COB LED different from normal LED strip?
COB stands for chip-on-board. The diodes sit close enough together that the strip reads as one continuous line of light rather than a row of dots, which is what makes it usable as architectural lighting in a cove or reveal.
How much does COB LED lighting cost?
COB LED strip starts at approximately $2.33 per foot at Valora Decor. Final pricing depends on length, colour temperature and the power supply and channel you need.
Can COB lighting be installed anywhere?
Placement, power supply and run length depend on the space. We review the location with you before recommending a layout — we do not promise that every position will work without looking at it first.
