Method 1 · Silicone Adhesive

The 30-minute wall.

Apply construction-grade silicone (we recommend Loctite PL Premium) in vertical zig-zag beads across the back of each panel. Press onto clean drywall. Hold for 60 seconds — done.

Method 2 · Screw Mount

Permanent and rock-solid.

Drive 1.5" drywall screws through the felt backing into studs or drywall anchors. The felt hides the screw heads — no putty, no touch-ups needed.

Step by step

Install in four steps.

Measure & Plan

Measure your wall and divide by 24 inches — that's how many panels you'll need. Mark a level line at the top and use a laser for alignment.

Prep the Surface

Wipe down the wall. For silicone, make sure the drywall is dust-free. For screws, locate your studs with a stud finder.

Mount the Panels

Apply silicone or drive screws at top, bottom, and every 24 inches along the panel. Work from one corner outward.

Finish & Trim

Cut end panels to size with a circular saw. Add optional LED strip behind the top edge for a backlit glow.

Common questions.

Silicone is removable with effort — panels pop off and residue can be scraped. It's a common install method for renters. For a landlord-safe option, use removable mounting tape designed for 10+ lb loads.

Yes. A circular saw with a fine-tooth wood blade cuts cleanly — make sure the felt side is up when cutting. For complex cuts, a jigsaw works well. Sand the cut edge lightly.

A dry microfiber cloth or a vacuum brush attachment handles most dust. For deeper cleaning, a damp cloth with mild soap works — avoid soaking the felt backing.

Yes — in powder rooms and half-baths without direct water contact. We don't recommend them inside showers. Use proper exhaust ventilation in any humid space.

Minor imperfections hide behind the felt backing. For walls with significant waves or bumps, a thin plywood substrate can be installed first, or our install team can handle prep.
